I have decided that I would like to turn a new leaf.
As a runner, food is always on my mind. And with that obsession comes much responsibility. Too much obsession is just is bad as flippant disregard. Counting calories is exhausting yet eating junk leaves me feeling sluggish. And at this point, I am trying to find the healthy medium between those two categories.
Throughout my life I have suffered with anorexia, binge eating, and many variations in between. Although I can proudly say I am in remission, I am still focusing on becoming the healthy, happy, well traveled, and well fed person that I have always wanted to be.
This blog is simply going to be a place for me to unwind, explore new food options, and concentrate on transforming into a healthy and balanced female athlete.
