I’ve noticed lately that I have become way too dependent on things like Clif bars, Pria bars, ThinkOrganic bars, Luna bars…you name it, I’ll eat it. They’re quite, typically tasty, and generally a little more processed than I would like (except the ThinkOrganic bars). Every once in a while it’s not bad to have one, but I’d like to break away from having one every. single. day. I had waaay too many yesterday (I stayed up until 2 am to do some reading and I got a bit snacky…oops?).
I am feeling a bit headachey and stomach achey this morning. I’m guessing that’s why. Ugh.
I have been trying to turn over a new leaf for months now and take the setbacks with a grain of salt, but it’s pretty difficult when the setbacks keep coming.
With that said, I had a Clif bar and a large banana for breakfast because I really want not in the mood to “cook” anything. Last night I thought that maybe I would want some nice oatmeal…but nope. At least I know that bars and bananas provide good fuel for runs.

go for Larabars – the only thing processed about them is the fact that they’re shaped like a bar! :0)
Hey, I was just wondering where you keep all your delicious food and produce? Do you have a kitchen?
I’ve heard good things about Larabars. Now I just need to find a place that sells them…
Danielle, I don’t have a kitchen (although I really really wish I did). But my bed is lofted so I have a little mini-fridge and some shelving for food
i love larabars . . . especially ‘cherry pie’ and ‘banana cookie’. i think you will like them
whole foods and trader joe’s both carry them, if you have those stores nearby.
you can purchase them on Amazon.com – that’s where I always buy my Larabars, in order to keep them in stock (since I eat one everyday).
